The second E in CREATE is for Evaluate.
Taking Time with team and trusting…. It’s time to:
Evaluate your progress.
Now that you’ve done the actions you planned for the period of time you said, it’s time to measure your progress. How did it go?
- Did you follow the plan?
- What were the challenges?
- Did you get the results you wanted?
- What were the results?
- How’d we do on the overall plan? Each step?
- Did we give it enough time?
What worked? CELEBRATE !
What didn’t work? TWEAK !
This step is about reflecting and re-centering… and then going back to clarify the next level and do it all over again (this time it will be on a much smaller scale) if there are changes to be made. As long as things are working, there’s not much to do, but always check in and make sure you’re making progress that’s aligned with your values, vision, mission and your current goals. This is about continuous improvement and it’s also important to remember to try to be process-oriented rather than outcome-oriented… Enjoy the journey!!! I say this because it’s something I constantly have to work on.
