Dr. Susan Maples delivers a deep dive into the link between oral health and physical health this week on Practicing with the Masters.  She leads an independent insurance practice in Holt, Michigan with an emphasis on preventative and restorative dentistry.  Dr. Maples has over 30 years experience in private practice and in 2012, she was named one of the top 25 women in dentistry as well as a top 8 innovator in the industry.

Dr. Maples is passionate about helping dentists understand the link between oral health and their patient’s overall health. She has written a book, BlabberMouth, which lays out everything from the rise in gum health diseases to a link between STDs and oral cancers.
