This week, I am honored to welcome Dr. David Carsten to the show. David has a degree in biochemistry from Washington State University and a DDS degree from the University of Washington. After 24 years in his dental practice and 16 years of teaching at Oregon Health Sciences Univerity and the University of Southern California, David received his certificate in Anesthesiology from Lutheran Medical Center in New York City.

David was recognized with the Award of Distinction in Continuing Education from the Academy of Dentistry International in 2005. He lectures and writes on many topics. However, his particular interests lie in the science and psychology of empathy, nutrition, pharmacology and perception. David currently continues to serve patients by working in the spiritual care department at Salmon Creek Legacy Hospital in Vancouver.

David joins me today to talk about his work at Salmon Creek, where he combines Eastern and Western medicine. He also shares his incredible knowledge of nutrition, diet and improving body and life for years to come. With his help, you can improve not only your life but the lives of your patients and those in your practice.
