This week I am honored to welcome a legend in the dental field, Lynn Carlisle. Lynn started practicing in 1968. After 40 years of practice, Lynn was still noticing that he had frustrations within his practice. Effective communication with his patients and his team members became his passion and sparked a new interest in learning.<\/p>\n

Over the course of his career, Lynn has been on the board of the Panke Institute, served as the president of the Bob Barkley Foundation and as an associate member of the Center for the Studies of the Person. He is also the author of two highly acclaimed books –\u00a0In a Spirit of Caring <\/em>and In<\/em> a Spirit of Caring Revisited<\/em>\u00a0and his newest book, Motivation Interviewing in Dentistry. <\/em><\/p>\n

From training with Dr. Pankey, Bob Barkley, Carl Rogers and Art Combs, Lynn has fashioned his own methods that brought out the best of all four teachings that he then applied to his practice. Lynn\u2019s discoveries and methods made him a pioneer in relationship-based dentistry and have revolutionized dental practices. After retiring from his dentistry practice, Lynn has devoted his time and wisdom to help dentists grow and develop themselves and their practices.<\/p>\n
